Data we collect

When you submit the contact form or email us, we may process your name, email address, preferred consultation type, work region, and the content of your message. If you book a consultation, we may also process CV files, Arbeitszeugnisse, and related documents you choose to share.

Technical data such as IP address and browser type may be processed through server logs and, if you accept analytics cookies, through analytics tools described on our cookies page.

Purposes and legal bases

  • Responding to enquiries and delivering consultations — performance of a contract or steps prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Operating and securing the website — legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Retention

Enquiry messages are kept for up to 24 months unless a longer period is required for an ongoing engagement or legal obligation. Consultation documents are retained for the duration of the engagement and up to 36 months afterwards for reference, unless you request earlier deletion where legally permitted. Server logs are typically rotated within 90 days.

Recipients and international transfers

We use hosting and email providers who process data on our behalf under contracts. If a provider stores data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

Your rights

Under GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.
